What can't we do?

Two of the main things we can't provide at the clinic are:

  1. Visits for anyone under 12 years old

  2. Narcotic prescriptions or refills

This is because, I as the NP, am certified to work with adult and geriatric patients only. Nurse practitioners in the state of Missouri are not allowed to fill or refill narcotics without a specific license and training.

What testing can you do?

We are partnered with Quest Labs, who has just about every test under the sun! If you have a question about a specific test, give us a call or shoot us an email to see if we have it. Click here to contact us.

Common testing includes:

  • Urinary analysis
  • CBC, CMP, lipids, TSH, Vit D
  • Biopsy of skin lesions

What about procedures?

There are also a lot of procedures we can do here in the office for our members. This includes:

  • Steroid joint injections for knees, hips, and shoulders
  • Medical botox for migraines
  • Trigger point injections
  • Sutures for lacerations to the arms or legs
  • Pap smear/pelvic exams
  • IV infusions of fluids for dehydration or IV vitamins
  • Breathing treatments
  • Cryotherapy for wart/suspicious lesions

What kind of acute visits can you do?

Here at the clinic, we designed a model where we can have openings for same-day visits and virtual visits.

Some of the common reasons for an acute care visit include:

  • Urinary tract infection
  • Respiratory infection
  • Suspected influenza, strep throat, or COVID-19
  • Sinus infection
  • Minor cuts or scrapes
  • Pulled muscles

What's a membership? Where does insurance come into play?

Because of the model of our clinic, insurance takes a backseat. We have a membership design, and this means clients pay a monthly fee. Once they are members, they have access to in-person appointments, virtual appointments, and same-day appointments. You also have access to our online portal where you can send messages to the provider. Clients are welcome to come as often or as little as they need.

With membership, you get some perks:

All testing/blood work is done at cost, meaning most of our blood work panels are less than $10. If there is a more expensive test we need done, and you have insurance, we can bill insurance for the test.

Medications through Hines Street Pharmacy are provided to you at cost, meaning there is no markup. However, if insurance covers your medications, we can still use insurance.

We work with Orthomolecular supplements, and members receive a 20% discount on their products. Orthomolecular has a high reputation and cannot be purchased at any major retailers or online.

Overall, we believe in transparent pricing. We are able to provide up-front cost estimates so you will never be stuck with a surprise bill.
